Services & Programs

HAART House

HAART House endeavors to improve medication compliance amongst inner city residents who have difficulty adhering to their ante-retro-viral medication treatment regimens. The program works with persons who have a history of:

  • Homelessness
  • Mental health Disorders
  • Drug and Alcohol Use

and HIV positive. The staff monitors patient adherence, tolerability and efficacy of drugs to treat HIV, and assists patients in booking and attending follow-up medical appointments.

At HAART House clients:

  • Receive meds on a daily basis in the home-like environment.
  • Receive a well balanced healthy lunch and snacks.
  • Receive emotional/social support and advocacy from the dedicated staff and volunteers.

How to access HAART House

There are three steps to becoming a client:

  • Come and visit our locations, meet the staff, look around, and decide if you would feel comfortable in the HAART House project.

Be alert to give service. What counts a great deal in life is what we do for others.
