Addictions & Substance Use Disorders
Addiction and substance use disorders affect all aspects of a person's life: physical, mental, social, financial, vocational, family, community.
Addiction is a problem in itself, yet is usually also a symptom of other significant problems that have very deep roots in a person's life. Successful addiction treatment does not occur unless people and their providers understand and address these core issues. It's not just about the drug, it's about the whole person.
The multidisciplinary team at Boyle McCauley Health Centre believes that fundamental change will not come unless we deal with the root causes as well as the symptoms of addiction. Our doctors and nurse-practitioners, as well as our expert psychiatrists and psychologists, help people address both these issues, as well as all of their other day to day health concerns.
We take a long-term approach to care.
If you think someone you know or yourself would benefit from our services, give us a call and chat with our staff. We can give you a more clear idea of our clientele or try to help find somewhere to go.
