Medical Clinic

The medical clinic at Boyle McCauley Health Centre provides medical care to individuals within our service area, the neighbourhoods of Boyle Street, McCauley, and Norwood.

Our mulidisciplinary staff consists of family physicians and nurse practitioners dividing their time between the clinic and the community, a health advocate, a mental health counselor, and licensed practical nurses. We welcome volunteers to help in many areas, particularly in our foot care clinic.

We provide a broad range of medical services. We provide in-clinic care and home visits. We are equipped to deal with minor emergencies, including stitches, burn treatment, and wound treatment.

Our staff deals compassionately and knowledgeably with those with HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, addictions, mental health problems, and socioeconomic problems.

Are you looking for medical care?
We are limited to providing services to those within our service area. Access for new patients is very limited, and at times we cannot accept new patients. Please phone or drop in, and we will do our best to help you find the care you require, whether through our clinic or by directing you to other services.

Are you an employee of another community agency, attempting to find appropriate medical care for your clients?
We welcome informal referrals from other agencies which serve our patients. Please call the clinic and speak with one of the physicians or nurse practitioners.

Are you a patient, wishing to make an appointment?
All appointments are currently sheduled between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm. Please call the clinic and press 0 (zero) for the reception/appointment desk, or drop by the clinic.

Are you a patient, wishing to be seen on a walk-in basis?
Walk-ins are seen beginning at 1:00 pm on weekdays. Please be at the clinic at 12:30 pm weekdays for walk-in registration. Evening walk-ins are registered at 5:00 pm. Saturday morning walk-in registration begins at 9:00 am.
