BMHC responds to the complex needs
of Edmonton's inner city by providing a diverse and flexible array of primary health care and health promotion services and programs for persons with limited access. Along with Alberta Health Services and other stakeholders we strive to improve health of individuals and the community.

  • Partners in foot care at Homeless Connect Edmonton

    Boyle McCauley Health Centre provided foot care services at the October 5, 2008 event and both a foot care and a mini-medical clinic at May 24, 2009 Homeless Connect Edmonton. In collaboration with Primary Care Network (PCN) Edmonton North, with help from SHINE Youth Clinic, and with the support of an extraordinary group of volunteers and staff we saw approximately 400 people, and our team performed foot care for 90 persons. 155 pairs of running shoes and 688 pairs of socks donated by the Running Room and PCN Edmonton North were supplied to those with the most severe foot problems.

Volunteer for Health

Whether it's a dental dygienist, foot care volunteer, board member or community resident willing to shop and prepare food for specific programs, volunteers are significant in the work of the centre.
